The details behind the edit
Our Editorial Approach
Our goal is to make skincare information easier to evaluate. We separate editorial interpretation, manufacturer descriptions, and general reference information rather than treating them as the same kind of evidence.
Research and sources
Initial articles use publicly available official product information and established dermatology references. Sources are linked within each article, with a consultation date. A citation does not imply that its author reviewed or endorsed PickNestEdit.
What “best” means here
Our introductory best-of titles describe an exploration of selection criteria and examples. They are not scored comparisons, clinical assessments, or rankings from personal testing. We identify where a recommendation is still awaiting verified product data.
Product selections
Before activating a product card, we require an exact product identity, a verified destination, current supporting information, authorized imagery, and a visible affiliate disclosure. We do not invent Amazon ASINs, prices, ratings, reviews, or stock claims.
Visuals and authorship
The initial copy and original illustrative still-life assets were prepared with AI assistance. The publisher should review them before launch and when sources change. Illustrations do not depict recommended products, real test results, or personal usage. Articles are attributed to PickNestEdit Editorial; no clinician review is implied.
Corrections and updates
When a material factual correction is made, update the article’s modification date and explain the change where useful. Report concerns through our contact page. We do not promise an update frequency we cannot yet maintain.
Medical boundaries
Our articles provide general educational information. They do not diagnose, treat, or replace advice from a qualified clinician. Seek individualized advice for persistent irritation or a diagnosed condition.
